The History Of Vintage

Owned by Kirby Jama, Vintage was named after her love of history, specifically anything to do with 1950’s Hollywood. From Frank Sinatra to Marilyn Monroe, when Kirby’s not working you’ll find her at home watching old movies with her 2 sons and 2 dogs.

Kirby first started offering beauty treatments 20 years ago, and after 5 years she decided to make her dreams a reality and open her own salon, where she has now been based since 2008.

The salon was called Vintage Boutique, due to the fact the salon was also a clothing boutique as well, however after a couple of years Kirby decided to take the salon back to its original use, and focus all of her time and energy on the salon.

In the last 2 years, Kirby decided her goal was to take the salon to new heights, and dedicated any spare time she had to growing the instagram page by creating aesthetic and engaging content as well as taking training courses with industry leaders and top brands, and since doing so the salon and her reputation have gone from strength to strength.
